DECO2102 is a 2nd year undergraduate unit of study at the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Planning of The University of Sydney. This unit of study explores issues of non-linearity and interactivity in the design of interactive multimedia. DECO2102 is taught by Neil McCann and Rob Saunders.

ActionScript 3 Programming
Here are a couple of links to the exercises we've been covering in class to try to get to grips with ActionScript 3 (a.k.a. AS3):

Another good place to look for tutorials on all aspects of ActionScript 3 is actionscript.org. It can be a little too technical for the beginner but they have lots of tutorials on all aspects of programming Flash. Have a look at some of the tutorials marked "AS3".

You might also want to have a look through the ActionScript tutorials that have been collected together at Tutorialized. Again, be sure to focus on tutorials marked "AS3", many things have changed between ActionScript 1, 2 and 3. Trying to learn all three ways of programming Flash in one go will melt your brain. (You have been warned.)

PS: You'll notice Flex mentioned in a lot of places that talk about AS3, this is the programming-only environment for Flash developers, like me, who don't want to have to deal with the Flash design interface.
