suzzane donald HOW I GOT THE DISSERTATION HELP TO GET MY DISSERTATION AAPROVED !!!

When Dissertation Troubles Surrounded Me: This is an appreciative letter to thank the people who provided pin-point and professional dissertation help at the time when I was totally disappointed and had braced myself to meet the disaster regarding my PhD degree. It was the worst time of my life when I even thought of my dissertation disapproval. I was busy working and handling my social life. You can say that I was hanging in bala… Continue

Rob Saunders Dancer

Guys, I've re-created the demo for controlling the playback of a movie clip, using something more interesting than the countdown movie we used in the lab. The example uses two instances of a movie clip of a dancer. The instance on the left (dancer1) shows how to use tweens to pop out and back when it is played and stopped. The instance on the right (dancer2) shows how to use tweens to zoom the stage in and out when it is played and stopped. You can download the Flash movie from… Continue

Rob Saunders Crash! Drag.

Unfortunately, my computer crashed last night erasing the Flash movie we were working on in class but I'll re-create it (perhaps even improve on it) and post it here as soon as possible. In the meantime, I've attached the Flash movie for the drag-and-drop example that we worked on last week. I think everyone got this working in class, but in case you didn't you've got a working copy now: Drag.fla. See… Continue

Rebecca Young Visual Style

So I thought about changing my visual style. I love vector graphics, and how they are mixed in with real photos. Combining them. I like the whole modern funky fresh look, bright colours on a black background, where everything just jumps out at you. I was interesting in doing this look at the start, but thought that I wouldn't be able to pull it off. So I went with watercolours and a scrapbook feel. But I'm going to try and experiment with this style first. Continue

Rob Saunders Spot the difference!

Here's the code that I typed in yesterday for updating the targetX and targetY position of our MovieClip when targetZ is changed to zoom in: if (k == Key.PGUP) { offSetXContinue

Amanda Ros Thinking through the Interactivity - Post 2

~ Where I intend to go? ~ I envision that my webpage would be a sort of sketchbook collage to sort layers on information in a non linear way – promote some form of investigation by the user. Thinking of the format similar to some comics I read a long time ago: David Mack's Kabuki http://www.comicsbulletin.com/features/113718704324571.htm It should focus on the idea of the degrees I can reveal information and manipulating this. For example: The idea of not clicking an icon that takes you the… Continue

Amanda Ros Thinking through the Interactivity - Post 1

~ Thinking through ~ Ever since my conceptual presentation I have been thinking about the interaction we commonly find in web pages. It seems like a lot of interaction we see is based upon the principle of a button that is basically an icon which reveals information that the icon appears to indicate by representation. There are limited degrees of revealing information thus: you either see it or have to click to see it. I guess you can kind of see it even in a flash game where one part is made… Continue

Rebecca Young Concept

So I was in the last of the bunch to present my concept idea for the final project. I finally decided on a work portfolio. I thought that this was a typical thing to do, but I am in need of one, and I know I would stay interested in it. Initially I wanted a video portfolio, where you could view clips of videos and learn about something? I wasn't really sure, but I knew that I didn't have enough videos of my own to make up enough content. My work portfolio is going to be made up of my videos and… Continue

Richard Lam Page 3 - How Will Richard Pull This Off

Things were great at a conceptual level. But now that I've had the chance to sit down and think about how I might actually pull it off, it doesn't look so easy. Lately I've been thinking about ways to simplify the project.. - shorter episodes and shorter storylines so I've got more time to work on better forms of interactivity - a simpler illustration style so I don't spend too much time drawing At the same time I've had some ideas to complicate the project further.. - simulating randomisatio… Continue

Wendy Post-Presentation

(Should've done this blog whilst the presentation was fresh in my head...) Main points from feedback:
  1. Keep the idea of "the history of the stick figure". Other storylines may not be as coherent as an animation of stick figures about the history of stick figures...
  2. Two possible view points for "history of the stick figure":
From the stick figure's point of view (either the figure is aware of itself as

Guy Steiner Parallax

After spending a few weeks playing with the idea of identity and the multiple personalities that people may have both in the online world and out in the 'offline' world I decided to make an abrupt change of path and head for an idea that I have been thinking about for a long time. What better time or place to try out my idea of an interactive online building. Just as one walks through an art gallery so to one should be able to walk to the same gallery though only online. A person in London who w… Continue

Vinata Ciputra Flash games / video

Just adding a few flash sites, which i thought is interesting. since i haven't added anything to my blog. Here's one impossible quiz, a simple interactive flash with buttons. The Impossible Quiz Here's a Chinese Cooking game, which i got addicted to a long time ago. It's in Chinese, i can't understand it myself, but the rules of the game should be easy to understand.… Continue

Richard Lam Interactive Webcomics found me.

This post is probably long overdue. Because I don't have uni today, I'll recount the entire thought process I went through to get to interactive webcomic. If you have better things to do, Go To Page 3. I spent weeks thinking of potential concepts for this project. Each time a new idea came through, it was 'awesome' for about 15 minutes before the sad realisation that it was probably going to be one of the most excruciatingly boring concepts everyone already knew about or couldn… Continue

Amanda Ros Generation of Patterns

Since my last post I have had a lot of time to brainstorm ideas for the main project. One of them that I have been particularly interested in lately is the idea of patterns. This is perhaps the result of patterns being a reoccuring theme throughout my subjects for this semester (particularly Innovative Building Structures). When I say patterns what Im actually fascinated in is how a pattern can be generated. Thinking back to the book Ive been reading since the holidays that talked about 'fracta… Continue
