I envision that my webpage would be a sort of sketchbook collage to sort layers on information in a non linear way – promote some form of investigation by the user.
Thinking of the format similar to some comics I read a long time ago:

Ever since my conceptual presentation I have been thinking about the interaction we commonly find in web pages. It seems like a lot of interaction we see is based upon the principle of a button that is basically an icon which reveals information that the icon appears to indicate by representation. There are limited degrees of revealing information thus: you either see it or have to click to see it.

Since my last post I have had a lot of time to brainstorm ideas for the main project. One of them that I have been particularly interested in lately is the idea of patterns. This is perhaps the result of patterns being a reoccuring theme throughout my subjects for this semester (particularly Innovative Building Structures). Ive added this sequence from the animation Paprika mainly out of interest. What has interested me about this particular animation is the interplay between reality and illusion.
The director Satoshi Kon often has this blending between both worlds to fabricate imaginative tales about dreams or media.
To me the opening sequence of Paprika is a compilation of scenes merged together to tell of the girls passage in a dream (or even separate dreams).
