DECO2102

Interactive Multimedia Design

Unlike Eisensteins Soviet montage theory in which he expresses his belief that montage is inherently dialectical, the montage that I have chosen to use is more representative of montage sequence.

The first montage that I have chosen to use is from a scene in the Lion King, the ‘Hakuna Matata’ scene. This is a great example for it shows the passage of time by showing Simba grow from a lion club to an adult.

The second montage that I have chosen to use is from a scene in Cool Runnings. Here again the reason behind this montage is to show the passing of time and more importantly the progression that the team makes in their training.

So after having a look at a few other blog posts I remembered a video that I had seen a while ago, it’s kind of like a women’s photo journal and if the first two videos didn’t show the passage of time enough then this one certainly does. She takes a photo a day during her pregnancy and it’s kinda freaky how you see her tummy grow so quickly☺
