So, here I am once again starting a blog, I created a blog yesterday for an elective called Web Art and Design and this time it's for Interactive Multimedia Design. If for some reason you are interested in my other blog please feel free to check it out at
http://www.gdsigns.blogspot.com. Perhaps both blogs can work in a synergy with one another, I mean why not use the Flash that I will learn in this class in that subject and the HTML and CSS scripting that I learn in that class in this one? Anyway, I'll have to wait a little bit longer to figure that one out but I'll keep you posted and let you know.
I called my other blog
GDSigns which is quite self explanatory once I tell you that my name is Guy Daniel Steiner and that I am an architecture student. Though if somehow it's still not evident (and this is nothing to feel ashamed of) the 'G' is for Guy and the combination of my other two initials with 'igns' reads designs, so there you have it
GDSigns.
I intend to use this blog as an online journal for this course that will hopefully show my process and progression from where I am at the moment, (which for those of you who are wondering is right at the beginning with no experience in using Flash and some familiarity and skill in Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver) to what will hopefully result in a erudite, informed, enlightening and entertaining final project, just to name a few - isn't the thesaurus grand? or rather awe-inspiring, thanks shift F7 (Thesaurus shortcut).
To end with a erudite, informed, enlightening and entertaining analogy that will hopefully set these posts in motion, "A blog should be like a women's skirt, long enough to cover the subject but short enough to stimulate interest". So there you have it, my first post - nice and simple... for now at least.
Thanks for reading,
Guy.
